Action sought on the state of the historic Trent Park gates

Action sought on the state of the historic Trent Park gates

The historic – and iconic – entrance to Trent Country Park is in a sorry state after several impacts by heavy lorries trying to enter the park.  After each collision, restoration has been patchy and inadequate.

The Friends and the Trent Park Conservation Committee have therefore sought the advice of a heritage inspector and his report and requested remedial actions were today submitted to the Council.  We await a response.
