Friends of Trent Country Park

1st Nov 2018 AGM & Public Meeting Agenda

1st Nov 2018 AGM & Public Meeting Agenda

The 2018 Annual General Meeting and final public meeting of the year will take place at 7:45pm on Thursday, November 1st at the Christ the King Catholic Church on Bramley Road. Your contribution to our debate on the future of Trent Country Park and its facilities will be greatly appreciated.

Officers and committee members will be elected to carry forward the work of the Friends for the next twelve months.  Please consider whether you would like to nominate yourself or someone else to stand for election to an office or the committee. If so, please use our Contact tab to let us know, as soon as possible.

As the year is drawing to a close, please take advantage of the meeting to renew your membership for 2019 or to join, if you are not yet a member.  It is still £4 a year or £25 for a lifetime membership.  Your dues enable us to hold meetings, promote our initiatives and cover basic expenses for the organisation.  If you prefer, you can renew/join online via PayPal at here on the website.  Thank you for your support.

At the meeting you will hear about a number of projects that are under way and we would welcome your help with a couple of them, please.  Sometime in the next two or three weeks we will be planting a lot of bulbs in the Water Garden and we need a few willing helpers.  The date has not yet been decided, but please contact us if you are able to help and we’ll get back in touch with you.   Another hands-on project – upgrading the waymarked trails – will also take place in the next few months, so please indicate if you can help with installing and painting posts and we’ll get back in touch.

We look forward to seeing you on November 1st. The agenda and location details follow:
