The council has received funding to do major restoration work to the north shore of the larger lake, opposite the mansion. Their proposals will be subject to public consultation and will be posted on the council website as part of the public engagement process. But you can read them here first!
Once feedback over the summer has been collated, the council will look at any issues or suggestions and make any necessary amendments before moving into detail design and costings in late summer/early autumn. They intend to begin works over autumn, likely to be phased according to weather conditions into the spring/summer of 2027 for completion.
